Madeline Muller - “mads”
Fitness has been a passion of mine since 2017. It started out as trying to make myself as small as possible due to a distorted image of what health as a woman should look like. That mentality changed when I found Powerlifting in 2021. I always loved the gym, but I didn’t start to love myself until I found my strength. Powerlifting was transformative for me and now I aim to give other women that same transformation. To flip the script on diet culture, to stop working out just to shrink ourselves, and change current societal norms around strong women. I now teach women to embrace their strength, take up space, and discover their confidence.
I found Strength Coaching after graduating with my degree in biomedical science, just as I decided to not go to medical school. I was extremely lost and I am forever grateful that I found this thing that encompasses my passion for the human body, health, preventative medicine AND strength, confidence, and lifting heavy ass weight.
My vision for R.A.T. Liftz is a community of bad ass, strong women who support each other through it all. We go past surface level “fitness” and dive deep into making lasting change in our lives to become better women for ourselves as well as our friends & family. We set our minds to our goals and look to the future while still loving ourselves in the present.

william Ernster - “Ernie”
My main concern is getting you stronger! After YEARS of frustration with my own lifting, I finally got a coach who showed me how much more there is to lifting, and equipped me with the knowledge and tools I needed to unlock my true strength. I learned more from my first year with him than I had in my previous 5 years of lifting. Knowledge is power. I aim to educate and inform my clients as much as possible because I know firsthand how much of a difference it makes.
My own transformation through powerlifting and strongman is what inspired me to start coaching others in strength training. My intention is to meet lifters where they are at in their journey. Everyone is unique. My ability to identify an individuals needs and meet them with the correct training and education is what I believe sets me apart from my peers.
